What type of camera and lenses do you
you use?
These days I shoot mostly
digital. The latest addition to my arsenal is Canon's 12.8mp 5D,
which I shoot with a wide assortment of lenses ranging from 14mm to
400mm. Most of my film work has been shot with a 6X7cm medium
format Mamiya 7 and four lenses ranging from 43mm to
150mm.
When you do shoot film,
what type do you use?
In color I shoot almost
exclusively Fuji Velvia, a low-grain, high-color saturation 50 ASA
positive transparency film. In black and white I shoot Kodak
Plus-X-Pan, a 125 ASA negative film.
How do you produce your
prints?
I print my images on an
Epson 3800 photo printer, which uses archival inks with a lightfast
rating of 80+ years. That means, under normal light conditions, the
print shoud last a lifetime and should even outlast traditional
photographic prints. For more information on lightfastness and
display permanence ratings go to the Wilhelm Imaging Research link
below.
Do you guarantee your
prints?
Yes. I guarantee them for
life. If you ever become dissatisfied with your print, I will fully
refund or replace it--your choice.
